Mr. Russell has over 40 years of U.S. Navy and military simulations experience involving platforms associated with the KC-130, P-3C, S-3A/B, F/A-18C, SH-2F/G, USMC and U.S. Army live fire range areas, U.S. Navy Surface and Undersea Fire Fighting training devices and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
In 1981 Mr. Russell began his career in the United States Navy as a "TD" (Training Device Technician). He served his tour stationed at NAS North Island, CA FASOTRAGRUPAC and worked on the S-3A Viking flight and weapon system training devices. In 1985, he went to work for Singer Link at North Island and completed his time with Singer / CAE in 1992 at Naval Air Station Moffett Field, CA where he performed as the Site Manager supporting the P-3C training systems. During his time at Moffett Field, Mr. Russell entered the Naval Reserve assigned to Mobile Maintenance Facility "Charlie" (AIMD) for the P-3C. Mr. Russell was also attached to the USS John F. Kennedy (CV-67) and with HSL-74 DEMON-ELVES at South Weymouth, MA. In 1992, Mr. Russell joined PULAU Corporation and performed the duties of Site Manager supporting SH-2F and P-3C training devices at NAS South Weymouth, MA and P-3C training devices at NAS Brunswick, ME before heading to Orlando in 1994 to serve as Program Manager on numerous simulation and training programs, with additional duties as Director of International programs, overseeing the Indonesian Air Force F-5 aircraft upgrade.
